Are the Earth Breeze laundry detergent sheets worth buying? Is it good as an RV laundry detergent? In this Earth Breeze review, I will give you my thoughts on this product and whether it’s something you should consider as an RV laundry detergent.

Please note: In exchange for my unbiased review I was provided two free packages of Earth Breeze. This review is based on my actual use of the product.

What is Earth Breeze?

I’ll start this Earth Breeze review by telling you what they are. Earth Breeze is a laundry detergent eco-sheets. They are available in fresh scent and fragrance-free. But that is simplifying things a bit since they are much more than that. Here are some of the benefits:

  • Power cleaner
  • Removes tough stains and strong odors
  • Works in all types of washing machines including HE
  • Can be used for RV laundry hand washing
  • Great for sensitive skin and hypoallergenic
  • Saves you space and reduces weight (no more 5 lbs plastic laundry jug)
  • Plastic-free packaging
  • About 20 cents per load

As I mentioned above it comes in plastic-free packaging which means the package is biodegradable and can be recycled. The sheets are pre-measured for a full load of wash. A smaller regular load only requires half of a sheet.

The sheets do not contain any phosphate and are paraben-free and devoid of chlorine dyes and bleaches.

Do Earth Breeze Laundry Sheets Easily Dissolve in Water?

One of my initial concerns with Earth Breeze was whether or not the sheets would easily dissolve in cold water, which is the temperature I use most for laundry. So I performed a little test on half of a sheet in a small bowl of cold water. See the video below.

I can confidently say they do dissolve very quickly in cold water, so I don’t expect any residue when doing a load of laundry.

Earth Breeze Gives Back

Across homeless shelters, veteran’s organizations, women’s shelters, animal care shelters, and disaster relief laundry detergent is one of the top requested items.

Earth Breeze has donated over 100,000 loads of laundry detergent to the types of shelters I just mentioned.

Their Buy One Give Ten Campaign has been very well received by the community. What’s nice about the campaign is that you get to choose where your donation goes.

They are not only making a difference from an ecological standpoint but are also from a social standpoint as well.

How Much Does Earth Breeze Cost?

You can purchase Earth Breeze in two ways. You can do a one-time purchase for $20 and get a 30-sheets (60 loads) or you can do a monthly subscription for $12 a month for one package. That’s a saving of 40% over the one-time purchase. There are no contracts and you can cancel anytime.

My Personal Experience

I received my two packages of Earth Breeze a couple of weeks ago, so I was able to do a hands-on Earth Breeze review. Each package contained 30 sheets good for 60 loads.

My next step was to try them out. Instructions are clearly written on the back.

Once I got my dirty laundry together I add 1 Earth Breeze laundry detergent sheet to the tub. I made a mistake and should have added 1/2 sheet since it was a small load. I’ll remember that the next time.

Then then I added my dirty laundry on top and set my washing machine to wash a small load.

Earth Breeze Results

After drying my clothes I checked how well Earth Breeze cleaned my clothes. Granted my clothes weren’t that dirty but there was one mustard stain that I did have on a shirt that was completely gone.

I found the results to be just as good as any of the popular detergents that I have used before. But with Earth Breeze, I get the added benefit of not having to use a heavy plastic jug which can get very messy to use. I also know I’m contributing in some small way to bot the ecology and our communities in need.

Earth Breeze Review – Final Thoughts

Overall I’m happy with the results that Earth Breeze laundry detergent sheets provide. Compared to the popular liquid brands’ Earth Breeze is a bit more expensive, about 6 cents more per load. However, compared to the HE pods it is considerably cheaper. I hope you found this Earth Breeze review helpful.

Do I think they can be used as an RV laundry detergent? Absolutely, they can and should be used as an RV laundry detergent. The packages are lightweight so you don’t have to worry about additional weight on your RV. The packages are easy to store and that is a great benefit in an RV that usually has limited space, to begin with,
