Are you looking for a lightweight travel trailer that can be towed by today’s more fuel-efficient and smaller SUVs? The Rockwood Geo Pro just might be the one.

There is a lot to like about the Geo Pro, including the selection of floor plans and loads of standard features. Let’s take a closer look at why you may want to consider one of these travel trailers.

About The Rockwood Geo Pro

About The Rockwood Geo Pro

The Gro Pro is built at Millersburg, Indiana’s Forest River manufacturing plant. The construction starts with a Dexter Torflex Axle, which provides independent wheel suspension and self-damping action for a smoother, safer ride.

It features rubber cushioning to eliminate metal-to-metal contact. A Forged torsion arm provides for maximum strength.

The Dexter axle comes standard with self-adjusting electric brakes and EZ-Lube bearing. Suspension parts on the Geo Pro have a 10-Year Limited Warranty compared to other campers that only warrant their suspension parts for five years.

The camper also features aluminum framing on the floors, walls, roof, slide-out walls, dinette bases, and bed bases. This makes it much stronger than campers composed mostly of wood framing.

The aluminum-framed floor with a one-piece 1/2″ panel is secured to a steel powder-coated frame making it durable and long-lasting.

Rockwood is one of the few manufacturers that laminate all of its materials on-site rather than contracting the work to others. This allows Rockwood to control the quality of the product in a controlled environment.

The roof, sidewall, end walls, and slide-outs are all laminated. They use Azdel panels whenever possible.

The walls and roof insulation is a pre-cut closed-cell foam that helps reduce outside noise and better R-value.

Geo Pro Interior

Cabinetry in the Geo Pro is done using a pre-drilled and pocket-screw method, making for a more solid cabinet. The cabinets are shaker-style, and the look is very pleasing.

In the galley, you will find a three-burner recessed cook-top with a flush-mount cover. You also get a nice-sized microwave.

Geo Pro is equipped with a 20,000 furnace to stay warm during those cold days. In some models, a heated mattress is a standard feature. The water heater is a quick-recovery type and runs on gas or electricity.

Here are some more standard features of the Rockwood Geo Pro:

  • Roller Shades
  • 12 Volt TV w/ DVD Player
  • AM/FM Stereo w/ Bluetooth and USB
  • Multidirectional TV Antenna
  • 100 Watt Roof Mount Solar Panel w/ 1000 Watt Inverter
  • WIFI Ranger WIFI Booster Sky 4
  • Power Awning (N/A 12SRK)
  • Power Tongue Jack

Rockwood Geo Pro can see the complete list of standard and optional features.

The Geo Pro is available in 13-floor plans, two of which are toy hauler plans. They range from 11’3″ on the G12RK to 21’2″ on the G20FBS.

Geo Pro Summary

Overall, the Rockwood Geo Pro is an excellent travel trailer with a price range from just above $10K to about $27K.

The price will depend on the floor plan and the options you choose. It’s likely there is a Geo Pro that meets your budget.

Side note: The Rockwood Geo Pro is the same as the Forest River E-Pro. The only difference is the exterior graphics and inside styling.
